We deliver structured public speaking and leadership certification programs online and in-person for students, young professionals, and leaders worldwide. Every program is built around one principle — real speeches, real feedback, real transformation. From 6-week certification courses and workshops to 1-on-1 coaching and the SLW Youth Speech & Debate Club, we build communication confidence that lasts a lifetime.
WHY WE EXIST
What If the Quietest Person in the Room Had the Most Important Thing to Say?
That question started everything. Working with a group of young people who had never spoken publicly before, we discovered something fundamental: public speaking confidence is not a gift some people are born with. It is a skill that every person can learn.

What began as a focused youth public speaking workshop in 2015 grew into a global certification academy — reaching students, young professionals, executives, and entrepreneurs across 25+ countries, online and in-person.

Professionals and entrepreneurs found us through referrals and word of mouth. We never said no. But we have never lost sight of the fundamental belief that started it all — that every person, regardless of where they start, deserves the confidence to make their voice heard.

Every SLW student delivers a minimum of 5 speeches per program. Repetition is the only path to real public speaking confidence. Our programs are built around doing — not just listening.

OUR JOURNEY
A Decade of Building Voices
2015
The First Youth Public Speaking Workshop
A small group of young people who had never spoken publicly before. By the end of one session, every single person had stood up, spoken, and surprised themselves. The seed of SLW Academy was planted in that room.
2017 — 2022
Public Speaking & Leadership Programs Expand
Programs expanded to university campuses across the US and India. Professional and executive public speaking coaching grew through referrals. Online delivery brought the program to students and professionals across 25+ countries. Coach Somesh delivered a TEDx talk sharing the vision — a world where every person speaks with confidence and leads with impact.
2023
SLW Certification Levels Take Shape
The structured public speaking and leadership certification pathway begins — three progressive levels designed for students, young professionals, and communicators who want a recognised credential and a clear journey from first speech to confident leader.
2023 — 2024
SLW Academy Annual Youth Public Speaking & Leadership Showcase
The first edition of our signature annual showcase event. Giving students a real stage and a live audience. Every student performs. Every voice is celebrated. Parents, educators, and community members witness the transformation firsthand.
2025 — ONGOING
The 100 Speeches Project Launches
Showcasing the Top 100 Young Voices Globally. A curated collection of original speeches from students across 25+ countries — still live and collecting. Every featured student earns a certificate of recognition and a global audience for their voice.
